I WISH TOMORROW (IWT) is an ongoing public participatory project which invites people to anonymously share their wishes for the future in their chosen language.

The work is rooted in wishing as a universal fundamental expression of longing for imagined alternatives to reality. IWT translates these universal practices into a contemporary format of digital light installation.

Through individuals' innermost desires, the project maps shifting narratives, diving into the locality of social realities and ambitions in real space and time. Shared wishes become a part of an expanding living archive of the collective global state that characterises our present-day reality. The installation is envisioned as an unexpected intervention in the cityscape that prompts a pause at the intersection of private intimacy and public expression.
