I WISH TOMORROW is a participatory art project grounded in the idea that the act of wishing for the future is a fundamental human impulse, an expression of our innate longing for possibility and imagined alternatives to reality. The work reconfigures universal traditions of wish-making into a modern format, serving as a form of collective introspection and public dialogue rooted in local contexts.

Participation is anonymous and open in any language. All collected wishes are incorporated into the installation as an LED light display.

The project was created in response to the "Earlier, Later" theme of the 2023 Noorderlicht Parade, in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and the Antwerp North community.
